Engleharts Care Home is located in Atlanta, Michigan, a small community in the north woods of Michigan. It's a friendly place with caring people, a low crime rate for personal safety, and the Thunder Bay River runs through it. The home is in a peaceful setting of pines, and within a mile there are stores, shops, churches, a library and a park with a public fishing dock. The area abounds with wildlife...birds, deer and Michigan's unique elk herd is in the woods north of Atlanta.
Atlanta offers health care to residents who have no health insurance through a federally-funded clinic. There is a senior citizen mini-bus service to larger towns nearby where health care specialists and larger stores are located.
Engleharts Care Home offers a clean and caring environment, a kitchen staff that handles both normal and special dietary needs, and a nurse who supervises prescriptions and medical needs of our residents. Besides single rooms, we have some double rooms to offer. We promote the independence of residents up to their full capacity, and provide assistance as needed.
