How Come?
Well folks our back is up against the wall. Our town is in dire need of some changes and
"WE NEED YOU" to "GET INVOLVED"
There is a committee formed for the purpose of creating a Downtown Development Authority for Atlanta. Most people aren't aware that Atlanta isn't anything at all, not a city, town or village, NOTHING. That is why all governing is done by Briley or Avery Townships. This is why our town has done a downhill spiral, we keep loosing business's, getting more and more empty buildings, and we are progressively looking worst every year. Because Atlanta isn't anything, we don't qualify for a lot of government grants to bail us out. Our Federal Government is giving grants to thousands of small communities like ours all over the country but "NOT HERE" and "WE" are paying for THEIRS with our income taxes that we have paid. Its time to bring some of that money back home to "OUR COMMUNITY". We need people that care about Atlanta and want to see the changes that we so desperately need. We will need people willing to volunteer their time for the good of the community so that we can leave something great for our KIDS, We need typists, researchers, people that just like to talk to others, and just bodies for odd jobs, so don't underestimate your importance.
